How do you decide the right programme for my child?
Every child begins with a specialist assessment across communication, learning, motor, sensory, social and behaviour. From there we shape an individual learning plan and place your child at the level where they will thrive.
Is Gifted Kids a school or a therapy centre?
It is a connected specialised learning environment. Education, developmental support, communication goals, life skills and family partnership are woven into one coordinated pathway.
Will my child receive the same programme as every other child?
No. The level of support, learning priorities and pathway are shaped around the individual child rather than a standard package.
How do you measure progress?
Progress is reviewed across meaningful areas such as communication, participation, regulation, learning, relationships and independence, not only worksheets or test scores.
Can my child eventually enter mainstream classes?
Where appropriate, supported inclusion may become part of the pathway. Readiness is considered carefully so that participation is purposeful, safe and sustainable.
What ages do you support?
We work with children from approximately age 3 through 10, with an individual pathway that grows with the child from early connection towards supported inclusion.
What are the early signs of autism in young children?
Common early signs include limited eye contact, delayed or unusual speech, repetitive movements, strong reactions to sound, light or texture, and difficulty coping with change. If you notice these, an early assessment helps you understand your child and act early.
How do I arrange an autism or developmental assessment in Kuala Lumpur?
Contact us to arrange a specialist assessment at our Kuala Lumpur centre. We look across communication, learning, motor, sensory, social and behaviour, then explain what would help your child most. A prior diagnosis is not required to begin.
What is early intervention, and when should it begin?
Early intervention is specialist support during the early years, when a child's development is most responsive. As a rule, the earlier it begins the better, which is why we welcome children from around age 3.
Do you provide speech therapy and occupational therapy?
Yes. Speech and language, occupational, sensory and behaviour support are woven into your child's individual plan alongside specialist teaching, rather than delivered as separate, disconnected appointments.
Do you welcome international and expatriate families?
Yes. We support local Malaysian and international families in Kuala Lumpur, in English, with a clear pathway towards mainstream or international-school inclusion at Pine Hills when your child is ready.
