This Privacy Policy explains how the Gifted Kids Ads Manager handles data when it connects to Google services. Gifted Kids Ads Manager is an internal tool operated by The Gifted Kids Care Centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The tool manages the organisation's own Google Ads accounts. It is used only by authorised internal employees and contractors. It is not offered to the public or to clients.
This policy covers the Google account and Google Ads data the tool accesses through the Google Ads API and Google OAuth. It does not cover enquiries families make through this website. Those enquiries are covered by our separate Privacy Notice.
What Google data the tool accesses
When an authorised user signs in, the tool requests access to the following, using Google OAuth and the Google Ads API:
- Basic Google account details of the authorised user, limited to the name and email address, used to confirm identity and authorise access.
- Google Ads account data for advertising accounts owned or managed by The Gifted Kids Care Centre. This includes campaigns, ad groups, ads, keywords, budgets, bids, billing status, conversion data and performance metrics such as impressions, clicks, cost and conversions.
The tool does not access personal data of families, students or website visitors through Google. It reads only the organisation's own advertising accounts.
Why the tool accesses this data
The tool uses this data for three internal purposes:
- Reporting. It retrieves campaign, budget and performance data so the organisation can review how its advertising is performing.
- Campaign operations. It supports day to day management of the organisation's own campaigns.
- Account administration. It helps authorised staff maintain account structure and settings.
The tool is read only by default. It retrieves and displays data. Any change to a live campaign, such as editing a budget, a bid or an ad, requires explicit internal authorisation before it is applied.
How the data is used
Google account and Google Ads data is used only for the internal operations of The Gifted Kids Care Centre. It supports the reporting, campaign and administration functions described above. It is not used for any unrelated purpose.
What the tool does not do
- It does not sell or rent Google Ads data or Google account data.
- It does not use or transfer this data to serve advertising, including retargeting, personalised or interest based advertising.
- It does not share this data with third party advertising networks, data brokers or resellers.
- It does not use this data to build profiles for purposes unrelated to the organisation's own advertising.
Humans do not read this data except in limited cases. Those cases are when an authorised user is working with their own account data, when it is needed to investigate a security issue or abuse, when the law requires it, or when the data has been aggregated and anonymised for internal review.
How credentials and access are protected
- Access uses Google OAuth. The tool receives access tokens and refresh tokens rather than passwords.
- Tokens and credentials are stored securely, encrypted at rest, and are never exposed in the browser or in public code.
- Access is restricted to authorised employees and contractors on a least privilege basis. Each person receives only the access their role requires.
- Access is provisioned internally. There is no public sign up and no public login.
- Access is reviewed periodically and removed when a person no longer needs it.
Data retention and deletion
The tool retains only the data it needs for current reporting and administration. Performance data pulled from Google Ads is retained while it is useful for internal review and is refreshed from Google rather than held long term. OAuth tokens are kept only while access is active.
When access is revoked, or when a person leaves, their tokens are deleted and their access is removed. You can revoke the tool's access at any time from your Google Account security settings, which invalidates its tokens. To request deletion of data held by the tool, contact us at the address below.
